Guided tours
The former crematorium Berlin-Wedding is one of the listed buildings in Berlin and reflects the city's history in a unique way. Built between 1909 and 1910 as the city's first crematorium, the building has borne witness to the changing culture of burial in Germany for over a century. When the vacant building was put up for sale by the Berlin Senate, silent green Kulturquartier was awarded the contract in early 2013. After an extensive renovation by silent green (2013-2015), in close cooperation with Berlin's historic preservation office, the independent project has found its home here.
